Easy Nail Art #1

Hi there!

Iv been crazy busy over the past two weeks so I haven't had much time to do my nails. I'm still waiting for some stamping things to be delivered so while I'm waiting for those I thought I'd share with you some easy nail art that you don't really need any tools for and it's all quick and easy to do.

I've put together 3 designs that are super easy but look awesome!

#1 Simple Dots

This one is so simple but effective. Adding little dots at the cuticle edge of the nails makes your nails look longer.

Paint your nail a base colour, I used grey. Then using a dotting tool or a tooth pick, dip a second colour (white) onto the nail creating dots. I usually do a big dot at the edge and make the dots smaller as I move up the nail. You can play with how many dots you want and how big you want them.

#2 Gradual Dots

This one looks amazing with all your nails done like this but it also stands out if you decide to do this on just one accent nail.

Start with a base colour, I've used a nude colour. Then choose a second colour for your dots, I've used brown to accent the nude base. Dot your second colour onto the top edge of your nail using a dotting tool or tooth pick, and gradually bring the dots down the nail making them more spaced out.

#3 Diagonal Edge

I love doing this nail as it is so simple and all you need is a bit of tape for a straight edge.

Start with a base colour, I've gone clean and simple with a white. Let that dry completely and apply a piece of tape diagonally across the nail. Select a second colour, I've chosen a silver glitter polish that I love. Paint the top part of the nail above the tape and peel of the tape immediately while the polish is still wet.

I love all of these easy nail art designs and if you want to experiment a bit, you could always add gems or play around with colours.

I'd love to see your creations on Instagram #libidasnails

Stay Inspired
